The Bermuda Police Service (BPS) today confirmed that Bermuda, sadly recorded another road traffic fatality death, when a 46-year-old man injured in a two motorbike collision last month, succumbed to his injuries.

Police say Allen Trott sustained serious injuries in the road traffic collision on South Road near the junction with Dunscome Road in Warwick on September 19.

A spokesman said today: “Both injured riders were transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for further medical care following the collision.

“The other rider involved, said to be a 21-year-old Pembroke man, was treated at the hospital for a broken arm.

“Sadly, Mr Trott ultimately succumbed to his injuries in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit on Thursday, September 30, as the investigation continues.”

Witnesses who have not already come forward – or members of the public with any relevant information – are now urged to call the Roads Policing Unit on 247-1788, or 211, as soon as possible.
