Police Assign PC Stephen Paynter as Lead Investigator on Fatal Devonshire Collision

Police Constable Stephen Paynter is now the lead investigating officer in the ongoing inquiry into the fatal road traffic accident that claimed the life of 66-year-old William Moniz.

Mr Moniz was seriously injured when the pedal cycle he was riding collided with a male motorcyclist on Middle Road in Devonshire, near the junction with Vesey Street around 11:50pm on Saturday, June 23^rd and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit in critical condition, where he remained until his death on Wednesday afternoon (June 27^th).
