Police Constable Stephen Paynter is now the lead investigating officer in the ongoing inquiry into the fatal road traffic accident that claimed the life of 66-year-old William Moniz.
Mr Moniz was seriously injured when the pedal cycle he was riding collided with a male motorcyclist on Middle Road in Devonshire, near the junction with Vesey Street around 11:50pm on Saturday, June 23rd and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit in critical condition, where he remained until his death on Wednesday afternoon (June 27th).
