Police arrested the second teenager believed to be involved in that recent handbag snatch from the basket of rental cycle at Horseshoe Bay.
The bag belonged to a 52-year-old Canadian visitor – the incident occurred around 12:15pm on Friday, August 23 in the parking lot at the popular South Shore beach in Southampton.
According to police, the suspect remains in custody “pending further inquiries”.
The 15-year-old boy arrested late Friday afternoon in connection with this same incident has since been released on police bail as inquiries continue.
