Update: The Bermuda Police Service can confirm that Mr Lorin Smith has been located safe and well. The BPS would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating him.

Police today appealed for public assistance to help locate a 57-year-old man in “a vulnerable state”.

Lorin Smith, who went missing this morning, is described as being dark-brown complexioned with short dark brown and greying hair, about 5ft 9in tall, slim build and weighing approximately 150lbs.

Mr Smith is also blind in his right eye and walks with a limp, or with the use of a cane.

A spokeswoman for the Bermuda Police Service said: “Mr Smith was last seen in the North Street City of Hamilton area near the Transport Control Department at around 11am on February 14, 2024.

“At the time, he was wearing a dark-coloured winter coat and considered to be in a vulnerable state.”

Anyone with information about Mr Smith’s whereabouts is urged to contact police on 211 or the main police line 295-0011.
