The carnage continues on Bermuda’s roads with word of another three-vehicle damage only collision in Hamilton Parish, in the North Shore Road, Seon Drive Hamilton Parish area.
Police and Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service personnel were dispatched to the scene of the crash around 12:40pm on Wednesday, March 7.
A police spokesman said: “The collision involving a water truck and two cars occurred near Shelly Bay MarketPlace and as a result, a section of North Shore was blocked for approximately half an hour.”
Fortunately, no one was hurt, but the vehicles involved were damaged.
Inquiries continue and any witnesses are urged to contact the main police number.
Meanwhile, another young male motorcyclist, injured when his bike slid into the path of an oncoming car, has been treated and released by the hospital.
The accident occurred on Wednesday, March 7, around 5:45pm.
Police say the motorcyclist was travelling in the eastbound lane on Middle Road near the junction with Khyber Pass in Warwick, when he “slid out into the path of a car being driven in the opposite direction”.
The young man was rushed to the Emergency Department via ambulance, and “although initial information suggested that his injuries may be serious, he was treated and later discharged”.
“Traffic was diverted away from the collision site for approximately two and a half hours while the scene was processed by the relevant police personnel,” the spokesman added.
