Another male motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital’s Emergency Department “unconscious but breathing”, following a single vehicle accident just before 4pm this afternoon.
Police say the accident occurred just east of the junction of Harrington Sound and Harrington Hundreds Road.
“Details are limited but It appears a male motorcycle rider collided with a light pole in that vicinity,” a spokesman said.
“The roadway has now been cordoned off as traffic collision investigators are currently processing the scene.
“All traffic is currently being diverted along Harrington Hundreds Road.”
