A 37-year-old Devonshire man is in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit following an early morning single vehicle accident.
Police say the accident occurred around 2:50am on Sunday (January 5) at the junction of North Shore Road and Black Watch Pass in Pembroke.
The rider was travelling east along North Shore when he struck the round-a-bout at the junction.
He sustained injuries to his chest, leg and hands.
A spokesman said: “A member of the public came across the crash and called for assistance.
“The injured motorcyclist was tended to at the scene by emergency medical technicians before being transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment and at last check had been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit.
“Any witnesses are asked to call the main police telephone number 295-0011 as soon as possible.”
