The Bermuda Police Service (BPS) has issued a reminder urging residents to stay vigilant in the wake of a recent spate of reported burglaries in various parishes – particularly in Warwick.

Police say cash and electronic devices were stolen during break-ins.

Residents are reminded to secure their homes by ensuring all windows and doors are locked before leaving their property unattended.

“Remember, thieves are opportunistic and travel down the path of least resistance,” a spokesman said.

Suspicious individuals or activity seen in any neighbourhood should be reported immediately to the nearest police station or the main police telephone number 295-0011.
