Details are limited regarding a road traffic accident that occurred just west of Raynor’s Gas Station in Southampton on Middle Road this evening, involving a car and a truck.
Police say the accident occurred around 5:35pm during the evening rush hour commute.
A spokeswoman said: “One person has been transported to King Edward Memorial Hospital for treatment. The extent of the injuries is not known at this time.”
Traffic was being diverted at Camp Hill Road, Scenic Heights and Middle Road /Southampton Princess,” the spokeswoman added.
“Traffic delays are to be expected until the scene is cleared.”
