The 58-year-old male driver injured in a two car collision just over a week ago, today remains listed in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
Police say the accident occurred around 2:40am on Sunday, July 14th on South Road in Paget, near the junction with Happy Talk Lane, remained in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
The driver of the other vehicle involved spent the night in the lock up on suspicion of impaired driving as a result of the early morning road traffic accident.
The 58-year-old man, sustained leg and chest injuries while the other driver, said to be a 32-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.
Meanwhile, inquiries continue and any witnesses are still asked to call the main police telephone number 295-0011 as soon as possible.
