Police confirmed today that the 43-year- old man who was seriously injured when he was stabbed by two men on Harbour Road in Paget during the early morning hours on Tuesday, is today listed in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

The incident occurred near the junction with Valley Road in Paget  around 2:53am on Tuesday, October 23. 

Meanwhile, the police investigation into this attempted robbery and serious assault  conitunues.

Police also thanked “those persons who have already made contact with police”.

But a police spokesman said investigators “remain interested in speaking with anyone who was travelling in the areas between Dockyard and Harbour Road, Paget during the early morning hours of Tuesday morning and anyone who:

  • observed two men on a motorcycle following closely behind a second motorcycle with a single rider
  • observed two men on a motorcycle approaching other road users while displaying unusual behaviour
  • in recent days/weeks themselves were targeted by and/or witnessed two men on a motorcycle approaching other road users or
  • received information regarding any approaches from two men on a motorcycle making demands of money and or personal property (i.e. chains or other jewellery)
