The Bermuda Police Service is tonight investigating a case with the Department of Child and Family Services, following the report of an infant who was treated at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for a head injury on Friday, October 26.
Since then, a police spokesman said this evening, that the 12-month-old baby boy “was initially admitted to the Intensive Care Unit but later flown overseas by air ambulance for further medical treatment”.
A police spokesman said: “Efforts to ascertain the full circumstances of this matter continue.”
The police media report was issued at 4:19pm on Sunday, October 28. As of publication at 5pm, there was no word on the young child’s condition or who was travelling with the 12-month-old baby boy seriously injured and subsequently airlifted out of Bermuda for further treatment.
