The Progressive Labour Party issued a reply to the One Bermuda Alliance General Election Platform this afternoon, saying the ruling party “is now offering a laundry list of new promises and asking for a second chance” after five years of “broken promises”.

“It is clear that after 5 years of broken promises, anti-Bermudian policies and deception more years will not make the OBA:

* More honest
* More open
* More accountable
* More compassionate

“Later this week, the PLP will roll out our platform; a long-term plan that is realistic, attainable and puts Bermudians first.”

Tuesday, July 4th is Nomination Day, which also marks exactly two weeks before Bermuda’s electorate goes to the polls on July 18th.
