To the parents, executive members, coaches and supporters of Bermuda’s Special Olympian team; you are Bermuda’s greatest influencers. You did the ground work – some of us will not fully understand but the outcome and results already tell that story! Bermuda must continue to support our exceptional community.
“I have been following the Bermuda Special Olympics progress via social media and ESPN with excitement and amazement. How proudly our Special Olympians represented our country even when they missed their families in Bermuda. They were loved and supported by their accompanying contingent.
“Sport has a way of bringing people together and sport has a way of spreading awareness of abilities and drive. To see a vision executed with such wonderful outcomes will have our athletes and support system wanting more. This was such a motivating experience that one will always remember. We are so very proud of everyone!
