Progressive Labour Party delegates will hear from the two MPs vying for the Deputy Leadership position later tonight, when former Minister of National Security, Renée Ming goes up against Walter Roban, the Deputy Premier, in the first debate of the campaign.

The Leader’s Debate between Premier David Burt and the former Minister of Finance, Curtis Dickinson, will be held on Saturday (Oct 15).

The two were scheduled to debate each other last Saturday, but Mr Dickinson backed out claiming the format was rigged against him.

The leadership vote will be taken on October 20, when the party’s 122 delegates selected by party branches and the 30 PLP MPs will decide who will lead the party moving forward.
