News Release: HAMILTON, Bermuda – The Department of Social Insurance advised that those receiving pension cheques were paid early yesterday (April 12).
Those who normally receive their pension cheques by mail had them delivered yesterday Monday, April 12, 2021.
As a special note, during the Stay at Home Period, pensioners will be able to visit their respective banks to cash their cheques on their designated shopping days, which is in accordance with the regulations in place.
Banking hours will be from 9am – 1pm.
The Department would like to take this opportunity to thank the Bermuda Post Office and the Accountant General’s Department for their collaborative efforts in ensuring that Bermuda’s pensioners were paid on time.
