The following official statement was released on Friday, November 12, 2021, on behalf of the Bermuda Government (Consolidated Golf Courses) Board of Trustees and presented on that date, in the House of Assembly on the Motion to Adjourn, submitted by Kim Swan, JP, MP and Chairman of the Consolidated Board of Trustees…

The Bermuda Government Consolidated Board of Trustees now have vacant possession of our premises following a failed tenancy agreement.

We apologize for being unable to offer Bar & Restuarant services while we recalibrate – but given the complaints received about the conduct of the persons illegally occupying our premises that was not befitting of a golf course clubhouse – we will endeavor to reorganize in a timely fashion.

Sadly, the Board of Trustees were misrepresented by a now former Trustee.

We are now owed thousands of dollars (unpaid rent & utilities) by our former tenant, who worked in collaboration with the former Trustee.

For the record, we have referred the matter to the Bermuda Police Service.

We thank the golfing public for their patience and respectfully ask them to bear with us as we reorganize.
