Sports Release: HAMILTON, Bermuda – The north field at the National Sports Centre (NSC) will be closed from Monday, October 19 to Sunday, November 8, as it hosts the inaugural rugby World Tens Series. There will be no access for walkers, joggers, outdoor fitness equipment uses or any other form of recreational activity during this time.

The series is a new international for eight professional teams from around the world. It is hoped that the 2021 will be expanded to include 16 teams, playing in 12 different locations around the world.

Craig Tyrell, the NSC SVP Operations Manager said: “We are delighted to be able to host this event, but it does mean that, for a short time while we prepare for the tournament, the North Field will have to walkers, joggers and recreational users.

“We do apologize for any inconvenience.”
