For the first time in years, there was no Non-Mariners Race on the Sunday after the annual Cup Match classic, but that didn’t stop countless boating enthusiasts from rafting up around Mangrove Bay in Sandys yesterday.

While the numbers where nowhere near totals reached over the years, they turned out nonetheless.

Hundreds of boats rafted up in Mangrove Bay for a day out on the water to enjoy Bermuda’s summer season.

In any case, it’s back to life and back to reality this morning as Bermudians step away from an historic, record-setting long holiday weekend that saw Somerset Cricket Club take their first two-to-one-victory on their home field for the first time since 1948.

And the rest as they say is HISTORY!

Congratulations SCC – Home of the Cup Match Cup!
