West end residents have another choice when it comes to ‘take-out’ food options with the opening of the Food Hub on Cricket Lane owned by Freddie’s Meals and Market – formerly the Greenlite Restaurant.
The food outlet opened this week, with the owners saying: “We’re super excited to announce our Big Buffet is now available from the newly opened Food Hub on Cricket Lane, Somerset.”
The post, published on their Facebook page on Monday (Nov 1) stated: “We have a great selection of freshly made buffet choices for the best Bermudian cooking that locals love to eat! Dishes range from seafood and lamb, to beef and chicken dishes, lots of vegetables, delicious sides and desserts. We have Cassava Pie every day and Bermuda Codfish & Potatoes on Fridays and Saturdays.
“In celebration of the Thomas Family, Freddie’s Meals & Market was born. Our menu features items from Freddie’s life; Bermudian food from his mom, Caribbean cuisine from his dad, and favourites from their travels including Asia and the Mediterranean. We are located on 49 Middle Road, inside of the Warwick Pharmacy (right next to Warwick Bowl) and in the new @foodhubbermuda on Cricket Lane, Somerset.
“At Freddie’s Food Court our goal is to provide the best Bermudian cooking that locals love!
“We are open again 8am to 6:30pm serving up delicious, freshy prepared favourites!”
