New CAT Scan Tech Joins Brown-Darrell Clinic

News Release: Hamilton, Bermuda – Mohamed Barrie, a highly regarded UK Cat Scan technologist, has joined the staff of Brown-Darrell Clinic.

Coming to Bermuda from Kettering General Hospital in Northamptonshire, Barrie has worked in CT and general X-ray for more than ten years.

During the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, he worked as a Lead CT Tech and coordinated student training at two hospitals.

“I am anxious to get going in Bermuda. My understanding is that Bermudians are accustomed to a high quality of diagnostic care and I intend to play my part to maintain or exceed those standards,” Barrie said.

Brown-Darrell conducted a three-month worldwide search for an exceptionally qualified technologist and Barrie emerged at the top of the list.

“We are delighted to have acquired the services of such a talented and experienced individual as Mohamed Barrie”, said Medical Director, Dr Mahesh Reddy.
