New York Daily News: QUEENS – A Queens man has been arrested for stabbing his mother to death in the family’s home, police said Saturday.

Dennis Cho, 20, faces murder and weapons possession charges after cops found his mother, Hyun Sook Cho, 60, face down in a bed covered in blood inside the 191st St. home near Station Road in Auburndale on Friday at around 2 p.m.

EMS rushed the suspect’s mother to New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Queens, but she couldn’t be saved.

“They brought his mother out on a stretcher. Her chest was covered in blood,” a neighbor who identified himself as Harry told the Daily News. “They were doing chest compressions but she wasn’t responding.”

A few minutes later, cops brought Cho out of the home in handcuffs, the neighbor said.

Another neighbor said she saw Cho Friday about an hour before the attack.

“He was smoking up there on the terrace,” said the neighbor, who wished not to be named.

Cho is also accused of beating and choking his 61-year-old father, who was also found in the home suffering from a cut to his hand and injuries to his head and neck, cops said. The father refused medical attention at the scene.

Cho is also charged with assault and criminal obstruction of breathing for attacking his father, police said. His arraignment in Queens Criminal Court was pending Saturday.

Friday’s attack brought a bloody end to ongoing strife between Cho and his parents, police sources said.

On December 24, Cho was arrested for punching his mother in the face and stabbing her in the foot with tweezers during a clash a week earlier. He was charged with assault and harassment and was released without bail following a brief arraignment, according to court papers.

Harry said cops had been to the family of three’s home for loud arguments numerous times. After the cops’ most recent visit to the house on Christmas Eve, the son seemed to disappear for a while, he added.

“He’s a little off. He used to smoke weed in front of my kids,” he said of the son. “He used to walk backwards up and down the block.”
