The 54-year-old Hamilton Parish man injured in a single vehicle accident when his motorcycle crashed into a wall, is today listed in stable condition on a general ward at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

The accident occurred around 12:50pm on Wednesday, November 22nd on Middle Road in Devonshire near the junction with Orange Valley Road.

He was rushed to the hospital’s Emergency Department via ambulance for treatment.

Meanwhile, inquiries into the circumstances of this accident continue and any witnesses who have not come forward already, are asked to contact the main police telephone number on 295-0011.

Another motorcyclist injured a week ago, has been treated and discharged.

The 48-year-old Warwick man sustained injuries when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a parked truck along Ord Road, in Warwick near Dunscombe Road. The accident occurred on Thursday, November 16th around 3pm.

At last check, a police spokesman said he had been discharged from the hospital, after initially being admitted to the Intensive Care Unit.
