News Release: HAMILTON, Bermuda – The Mirrors Programme celebrated its outstanding volunteers and the artistic talents of Bermuda’s youth at the Mirrors Volunteer Appreciation Awards Ceremony and the opening of the 8th Annual Art and Digital Competition exhibit on July 5, 2024. Senator Lindsay Simmons was joined by Assistant Director of Child & Family Services, Kennette Robinson, and Joshua Wilson, Co-chair of the Mirrors Alumni and Friends Association (MAFA) in acknowledging the volunteers.

Senator Simmons celebrated the contributions of the volunteers and the community’s role in supporting Bermuda’s young people stating: “It’s because of your willingness to give back to the community that the lives of our young people have been greatly impacted. As Helen Keller once said: ‘Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much.’ Thank you for giving countless hours so this impact can continue. Your efforts are deeply appreciated.”
