News Release: HAMILTON, Bermuda – “Join us this Thursday, November 10th, between 11 am and 2 pm on the Front Lawn of the City Hall for a Parenting Expo that will provide valuable resources and connections to assist with coping and parenting skills,” said Tinee Furbert, Minister of Social Development and Seniors. 

“From our Nurturing our Nation: Imperfect Parenting Series, this Expo will feature various industry professionals that provide community programmes, child development support and services, mental health support and services, parent and education support, and extra-curricular activities.” 

Minister Furbert added: “The Government remains committed to our parents, children, and families and is keen to find a way to ensure they are given the support and tools to help strengthen themselves.” 

“It is our hope that through the Nurturing our Nation: Imperfect Parenting Series, we can educate and provide resources to primary caregivers and start healing the foundation of our families.” 

Minister Furbert concluded: “Once our families experience healing, then, together, we can work collectively to heal our Nation.”
