Stressing “the critical importance of professional development” for “our leaders, teachers and school staff on an ongoing basis”, Minister of Education Diallo Rabain told MPs it will play a pivotal role that is critical to the success of education reform.

“Providing professional development during education reform is extremely important as we prepare for the significant changes that legislation will bring to the Bermuda public school system,” said Mr Rabain.

In a Ministerial Statement delivered during the Budget Debate on Wednesday (March 10), he outlined the efforts undertaken thus far, “to develop the workforce for Bermuda’s schools and the professional development that will be provided”.
