Minister Foggo to Address Chamber of Commerce on Code of Practice For Project Management & Procurement

Minister of Government Reform Lovitta Foggo will address members of the Chamber of Commerce tomorrow (Jan 31), on the Code of Practice for Project Management and Procurement.

A spokeswoman said: “The meeting, which is for Chamber members only, will afford those present an opportunity to learn more about the new rules associated with doing business with the Government.”

Minister Foggo added: “Government is committed to empowering small and mid-sized businesses to gain access to public sector opportunities.

“The Code also sets out the requirements and procedures for the procurement of goods and services for the Government that must be met and followed by all public officers.

“So, during tomorrow’s presentation, Chamber of Commerce members will receive information about key aspects of the Code and their potential impact on commercial interests.”
