Police have identified a suspect in connection with Bermuda’s latest shooting incident that occurred shortly after 6pm on Mother’s Day in the area of Court Street and Elliot Street in Pembroke.
Detective Sergeant Jason Smith is heading up the investigation by the Serious Crime Unit, which was launched after a 34-year-old man reported that he sustained a superficial gunshot wound.
The victim reportedly sustained a gunshot wound to his leg during a confrontation with another man. He reported the incident to police who are now appealing for public assistance.
A spokesman said: “We are aware that there were several persons in the area and motorists that travelled along Court Street at the time of this shooting. We want to hear from you.”
