Another gun shot victim is today listed in “gravely critical” condition after he was shot outside a sports club early this morning.
A police spokesman said the man was standing outside St David’s Cricket Club when another man walked up and shot him at about 1.40am.
Initial reports circulating indicate that this latest shooting was gang related.
“The suspect left the area and the victim was taken to the hospital via the ambulance,” the spokesman added.
A full investigation is now underway by the Serious Crime Unit and police want to speak with anyone who many have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the shooting.
