Police have confirmed that a 52-year-old was killed last night in what is being described as a domestic incident at a private residence on St Mary’s Road in Warwick.

Speaking at the scene last night, Detective Sergeant Jason Smith said: “A man has been taken into custody.”

He also stated that the “circumstances of the case are still developing”.

Bermuda Real understands the fatal incident involved the father and son, who is now in custody.

Police rushed to the home shortly after midnight when the first report came in.

A police spokesman said: “A second caller reported one of the individuals believed to be involved was carrying a knife and that another person may have been injured.

“As police headed to the scene they observed a male lying bleeding in the roadway on St. Mary’s Road and requested an ambulance.”

The victim was rushed to the hospital’s Emergency Department via ambulance, where he was pronounced dead.

“A 26-year-old male was taken into custody in connection with this incident.”
