One man was injured and “transported – conscious and breathing” to the hospital’s Emergency Department following a disturbance at St George’s Cricket Club last night, where a fight broke out “involving several individuals”.
Police say the incident occurred around 11pm on Sunday, July 14th.
A police spokesman said: “Details are limited at this time. So far it is understood that one man was injured.
“His injury is not believed to be life threatening but a medical update is anticipated in due course.
“Inquiries are underway and any witnesses or members of the public with relevant information are encouraged to call the main police telephone number 295-0011 as soon as possible.”
