A 29-year-old Warwick man was formally charged in Magistrates’ Court today with the unlawful killing of 27-year-old Daunte Woods.

The fatal stabbing occurred on October 25 last year on the main Road in Sandys.

Jahmari Beach was further charged with possession of a bladed article.

The defendant was not required to enter a plea to the indicatable offences, which will be heard in Supreme Court.

Senior Magistrate Juan Wolffe released Beach on $25,000 and set the case down for the arraignments session on April 1 with orders to stick to a curfew between 7pm to 9am, give up his passport and report to Hamilton Police Station three times a week.

He was ordered to wear an electronic monitoring device once one becomes available.
