Senior Magistrate Juan Wolffe today adjourned the case of a man who has denied causing the death of another man in a motorcycle collision.

Ishmael Lightbourne, 40, of Pembroke, was formally charged with causing the death of Shannon-Hugh Davis, 39, by driving with a dangerous drug in his system.

The incident is alleged to have happened on North Shore Road in Hamilton Parish on March 1 last year.

Mr Lightbourne’s case will eventually go to the Supreme Court and he was not required to enter a plea to the indictable offence.

The case was adjourned until August 3.

The defendant was released on $10,000 bail.
