The deadline to submit your views on what should be included in health insurance policies is tomorrow.
The Bermuda Health Council issued a reminder to the public this week that they have until Friday to complete the online survey.
The survey, entitled: ‘What health services should be included in your insurance package?’, will help shape the essential healthcare services “to be included in every health insurance policy and eligible for subsidy”.
Health Economics Director Ricky Brathwaite, stressed the need for public feedback.
“We are truly excited to have the public engaged in helping to determine which health services need to be a part of their healthcare and wellness,” said Mr Brathwaite.
“Hundreds of individuals who want to see healthcare continue to progress have responded to the survey, and we hope to hear from many more. This survey is a tool to help the public continue to be engaged in their healthcare, and a voice that all persons within the healthcare system need to hear. We look forward to receiving additional responses for this survey and continuing healthcare conversations throughout the year.”
Members of the public are encouraged to provide their input “on which health services you feel are most critical in managing your individual wellness and improving Bermuda’s broader community health.
The deadline to complete the Healthcare Services Survey is Friday, August 25, 2017. To complete the survey go to www.bhec.bm.
