News Release: HAMILTON, Bermuda – The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform the motoring public that Middle Road, Warwick east of Burnt House Hill – road widening project will continue. Phase II entails relocating the BELCO poles and construction of a new wall and sidewalk.
These works will require a one-lane closure for the westbound lane only – taking place Monday, January 10 until approximately Friday, March 4, 2022. Working hours will be from 7:30am to 3:30pm daily.
Traffic controls will be under direction of Ministry of Public Works representatives and will be managed through traffic control signals and signage.
The motoring public traveling west Via Middle Road, is advised to seek alternative routes via Tamarind Vale, Harbour Road and Burnt House Hill, to avoid this trench work sections. The motoring public traveling east is advised to seek alternative routes via Burnt House Hill and Harbour Road to avoid this trench work section.
Various detour routes signage will be placed.
