News Release: HAMILTON, Bermuda – Following a very successful 7th consecutive ‘Halloween Treat Voucher’ Campaign, KFC proudly announces that they raised $5,002 in support of Coalition for the Protection of Children.

KFC was excited to handover a sizable cheque to help a charity that is dedicated to tracking areas where families struggle and require assistance, formulating goals and strategies which aim to address the root cause of the issues we face as a community.

For only two dollars, packets of five (5) vouchers were available from KFC to redeem for KFC product with retail value up to $12.25. Each voucher allows a child aged 12 or under to redeem it and receive either an apple turnover, one order of French fries or a chocolate chip cookie. All vouchers are valid until January 31st, 2022 at KFC.

Kelly Hunt, Executive Director at Coalition for the Protection of Children said: “We are so appreciative to KFC and its customers for this amazing contribution. On behalf of the families we serve, we would like to thank each of you for helping us ensure that children can grow up in a safe and healthy environment with proper access to nutrition. KFC management is to be commended for their ongoing willingness to support our community.”

Ms. Ginene Haslam, General Manager of KFC, added: “We would like to thank our customers for supporting this campaign. We are very happy to have raised $5,002, and I’d like to take this opportunity to congratulate Ms. Kelly Tweed who was our top fundraiser.
