Two injured motorists and a 17-year-old seriously injured in a jet ski accident remain in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit this weekend, including a 42-year-old woman injured in a single vehicle motorcycle crash early Friday morning.
Police say the accident occurred around 12:35am on Friday, (August 9) on North Shore Road in Hamilton Parish, near the Shelly Bay MarketPlace.
A spokesman said the rider “struck a wall while travelling east on North Shore Road near the junction with Seon Drive”.
“She was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of serious injuries, with the latest medical update confirming that she has been admitted to the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit,” he said.
Meanwhile, the young teenager who sustained serious injuries in that jet ski crash that occurred around 6pm on Tuesday, August 6, near Robinson’s Marina in Sandys, was listed in stable condition.
And the 47-year-old male rider seriously injured in a single vehicle motorcycle crash on Store Hill in Smith’s Parish earlier this week, remains listed in stable condition.
