Another medal-winning performance tonight (Aug 27) for Jessica Lewis, only this time its a silver medal after she placed second in the 800m event, securing a second medal in the 2019 Parapan American Games in Peru.
Taking the gold in first place was Yen Hoang of the US, who won the race in a time of 2:08:09. Lewis finished in a time of 2:08.99 and Yadira Del Carmen Soturno Diaz of Venezuela won the bronze medal for placing third.
