A police spokesman confirmed today that the 65-year-old Smith’s Parish man arrested on suspicion of impaired driving after a three-vehicle crash, passed the alco-analyser test.
The accident occurred on Friday night, around 9:45pm, on Middle Road in Paget near the junction Cedars Drive.
At last check this morning, he said “both the 54-year-old male motorcyclist and 40-year-old female car driver” hurt in the collision received hospital treatment and were subsequently discharged.
The senior citizen arrested was subsequently released on police bail after he passed the alco-analyser test.
