News Release: September 9, 2021 – Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Hurricane Fabian 18-year Memorial scheduled for Sunday, September 5th, 2021, has been postponed. Instead of the memorial, the organizers are inviting all to pause for a moment of silence wherever you may be on Sunday at 2pm in remembrance of those who passed away during Hurricane Fabian on Friday, the 5th of September 2003.
Hurricane Fabian was the strongest hurricane to hit Bermuda since Hurricane Arlene in 1963. It was also the most damaging and the first hurricane to cause deaths due to a hurricane on the island since 1926.
On behalf of the oranizers, let’s stays safe!
