MPs will hold another virtual session of the House of Assembly at 10am this morning, to discuss the resolution to cut salaries for civil servants, including MPs and Senators.

This after Premier David Burt, the Premier, said on Wednesday that his Cabinet ministers agreed to take a one-year 15 percent cut.

A one-year 12.5 percent pay cut was proposed for backbenchers and members of the Upper House, in addition to the suspension of payments to the superannuation fund.

Meanwhile, MPs will also debate the extension of the state-of-emergency regulations to June 30.

Other items expected to be debated include the legislation designed to extend the lifetime of a development strategy document — the Development and Planning (Draft Bermuda Plan 2018 Extension) Bill 2020.
