The Ministry of Home Affairs issued a public reminder today that it is currently undertaking consultation to determine the most appropriate way to strengthen and modernize municipal governance for the benefit of Bermuda.
The consultation period includes meetings with various stakeholder groups, town hall meetings and the following survey.
A spokesperson said: “At the end of the consultation period, a policy document will be made available for review and comment by the general public, prior to the Government deciding on the optimal governance model for municipalities in Bermuda.
“Members of the public can give feedback on this issue by emailing corporationreform@gov.bm and/or by taking a brief survey which can be found by clicking HERE (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/F5T6FTR) or by going to the www.gov.bm homepage. It will expire on October 6.”
