The Ministry of Health issued an advisory this weekend that an individual who attended the funeral of Charles Henry Eugene Eberly on Saturday, November 28th has “since tested positive for COVID-19”.

A spokesperson said: “The Ministry of Health wishes to advise members of the public of a potential COVID-19 exposure and provide guidance regarding further appropriate action.

“We are advising any member of the public who attended this event to call the COVID-19 hotline 444-2498 to arrange COVID-19 testing on Sunday afternoon. In the meantime, we are advising individuals who attended this funeral to quarantine from others outside of their household until they are advised by the Ministry of Health.

“We are issuing this advisory out of an abundance of caution as the most expedient way to contact all those individuals who may have attended the funeral.”
