News Release: HAMILTON, Bermuda – The Bermuda Olympic Association is today announcing the appointment of the leadership if Bermuda’s delegation to the 2021 Junior Pan Am Games in Cali, Columbia later this year.
Julia Hawley will fill the position of Chef de Mission, heading Team Bermuda, while Ashley Yearwood will support the team as Assistant Chef de Mission and COVID liaison officer.
BOA President Judy Simons commented, “We are pleased to have Julia and Ashley leading our athletes to Cali. Their experience and dedication to supporting our athletes will be of tremendous benefit to our team and allow them to approach their respective competitions with confidence.”
Bermuda is likely to be represented at these inaugural Junior Pan Am Game in Archery, Athletics, Cycling, Sailing, Swimming, Tennis, and Triathlon. Final team selection is currently in process and will be announced closer to the games.
