Celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson will be hosting two events at the Hamilton Princess Hotel this weekend, to showcase how to complement every day comfort food with the finest champagnes.

The Fried Chicken Dinner on Saturday, will be paired with his signature Fried Yard Bird with champagnes from Veuve Forny, Jacquesson, Marie Courtin and P Gimonnet & Fils.

The three-course dinner will be followed on Sunday with a personal demonstration by Chef Samuelsson on how to make some of his favourite food, with a delicious buffet afterwards by the waterside.

“It’s always a treat to visit Bermuda and the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club,” said Mr Samuelsson. “I’m thrilled to be hosting two dinner events this weekend that will include some of my signature dishes available at Marcus’, such as the Fried Yard Bird, as well as some of my favourite recipes from my cookbooks.”

The Fried Chicken Dinner will be held at Marcus’ on Saturday, December 2nd from 6pm to 9pm. The three course meal costs $150, including gratuities, and includes champagne. Marcus Samuelsson’s Cooking Demonstration will take place on the Regency Terrace of the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club on Sunday, December 3 from 3pm to 5pm onwards. Tickets for the event include the demonstration and buffet dinner and cost $135, including gratuities. Tickets must be booked in advance and can be purchased at www.PTIX.bm.

Marcus’ is open for lunch from 12pm to 3pm, dinner from 6pm to 10pm and late-night dining from 10pm to 12am. Champagne brunch is served on Sundays from 12pm to 3pm.
