News Release: Hamilton, Bermuda – The Department of Public Transportation (DPT) advises that the Hamilton Bus Terminal parking bays will be resurfaced over the next four Saturday evenings commencing the March 14,2020.
Asphalting work will take place from 6pm Saturday concluding 7am the following day.
The complete asphalting schedule is as follows:
- Saturday, March 14
- Saturday, March 21
- Saturday, March 28
- Saturday, April 4
On these days, the public is urged to adhere to the following Washington Street parking and road restrictions:
- From 4pm there will be no parking and all vehicles must be removed
- From 6pm the street will be closed to vehicular traffic
Signs will be in place advising the public and vehicles not removed may be done so at the owners’ expense.
The public bus schedule will operate as per normal, however, buses may be assigned alternate parking bays. If so, the appropriate signage will be provided informing of any change.
