Known for his glowing smile and heart warming personality, relatives and friends of Zameer ‘Ronnie’ Baksh are mourning the loss of the well known retailer behind The Edge.
When contacted by Bermuda Real, a family member said Mr Baksh, born February 1967, “died peacefully in his sleep” overnight on Saturday.
When he didn’t show up for brunch with his mother he was found on Mother’s Day.
“He is survived by his mother Patsy Proctor, his wife and best friend Giselle Baksh and two daughters who were the light of his world, Raven and Dacotah Baksh (Kyoto) and far too many family members and friends to name.
“His celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 18 at Christ Church in Warwick at 4:30pm and to honour Ronnie’s memory and to match his personality – colours are encouraged,” she added.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Bermuda Heart Foundation.
On behalf of Bermuda Real we send our heartfelt condolences to Ronnie’s family, especially his mother, Giselle, his baby girls and my beloved friend Lisa Johnson Sheppard.
