Forecasters say it will remain quite windy this afternoon, as a tight pressure squeeze between high pressure to the northeast and low pressure to the northwest of the island, will keep gales around for much of today.

Despite a few showers around, most rainfall will be limited until a cold front slowly moves across the Island late Tuesday into early Wednesday, yet remaining unsettled and windy thereafter.

Temperatures continue the warming trend into Tuesday, with mostly cloudy skies with the risk of a few showers in the forecast for tonight. Winds will gradually ease with gusts to gale force by late this evening, with a low near 69°F.

There is a risk of daytime showers in the forecast for Tuesday, which will become steady rain at night.

The chance of rain decreases by Wednesday afternoon, with sunny breaks and the risk of a few showers by Thursday afternoon.
