News Release: May 27, 2021 – The Garden Club of Bermuda has created a mini-float for the Department of Culture and Kaleidoscope Arts and Mini-float competition that the public has a last chance to view today.

The public can view the 100th anniversary cake of the Garden Club of Bermuda at the Church Street entrance to Washington Mall. The float was designed by Nicky Gurret and built with team members, Carol Sims, Rosemary Holmes and Beth Miller.

The float has a plethora of colours and flowers, such as bougainvillaea, carnations, mums, chrysanthemums, gerberas, calla lilies, asparagus ferns, pittosporum, New Zealand Flax, finger ferns and other foliage found in Bermuda.
