Former Mayor of Hamilton Graeme Outerbridge, businessman Michael MacLean and his wife Yasmin MacLean were summoned to appear in Magistrates’ Court this morning, in connection with that $18 million loan.
Corporation of Hamilton Secretary, Ed Benevides, was also due to appear, but the court heard he was off the island due to medical reasons.
No charges were read out in court as Mr MacLean’s lawyer Charles Richardson, indicated that he had filed an application for judicial review.
Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo set the matter down for June 21.
